In 2006 the U.S. Mint released a special 3-Coin Silver Eagle set to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Silver Eagle Program which began in 1986. This set included a Proof Silver Eagle, the special Burnished or Satin Finish Silver Eagle and, for the first time ever, the Reverse Proof Silver Eagle.
As you would expect, this set was an immediate sellout from the mint and has been a staple in any Silver Eagle collection. We were able to acquire a small quantity of these sets with all 3 coins certified PERFECT MS70, PF70 & Reverse PF70 by NGC. Due to this sets extreme rarity, we decided to include this in our exclusive "Premier Select Series" list of coins.
