This design draws inspiration from the 1945 version of the Great Seal of the United States, where the eagle faces right towards the olive branch. The inscriptions include LIBERTY, 1945, and WORLD WAR II.
Reverse: Reflects the sun element featured on the 1945 World War II Victory Medal. Seventy-five years later, the sun has reached its noon-day brilliance, shining upon the symbolic olive branches on the left. The inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, IN GOD WE TRUST, 75th ANNIVERSARY, 2020, AU 24K 1/2 OZ., and $25.
