This 2023 large one ounce silver coin features the famous “Black Eagle” design exactly as it was used on the 1899-Series $1 Silver Certificate on the obverse. These unique coins feature Ultra-High Relief images and a satiny Antique Washed finish. They will be graded as MS70 by NGC and certified as a First Releases.
The Obverse features the image of an American Bald Eagle exactly as displayed on the 1899-Series $1 Black Eagle Silver Certificate. It also displays the date and 13 stars to represent the original 13 American colonies. The overall look of the coin is designed to mimic the look of a vintage silver dollar. The Reverse features includes the official Fiji Coat of Arms, denomination and date.
The worldwide mintage of these historic coins is just 1500 pieces with a total First Release MS70 population of only 500 coins.
