Standing Liberty Quarter 10 Coin Starter Set
These coins were struck by the U.S. Mint from 1916 to 1930 in .900 silver. The original design of the coin was the subject of some controversy. The design was modified in 1917 to cover Lady Liberty’s exposed breast, and the reverse received a new arrangement of the stars, with the eagle moved higher. In 1925 the design was altered again when a depression was made in the pedestal on which Lady Liberty stands and that bears the date.
